THE NEW – NEW DEAL

Winston Churchill was a revered national leader.

He had led the United Kingdom,

the British Empire

to victory in World War II.

But when the war was over he wanted to return England to the pre-war

business-as-usual.

The business-as-usual of everything being about the dirty, stinking rich

and their accumulation of more weath,

about their privilege,

entitlement.

The business-as-usual of the vast majority of the English people

struggling to make rent

struggling to get medical care

struggling to exist.

The English people weren’t having it.

They had sacrificed.

They had suffered

– horribly.

There was a general elections less than two months after the end of World War II in Europe.

In a landslide

Churchill and the Conservative Party was swept from office.

Clement Attlee and the Labour Party became the new reality.

During their campaign they had reminded the English people

of what happened when the  veterans of World War I returned.

They had been greeted with

massive unemployment,

homelessness,

limited access to

health care,

destitution.

Attlee and the Labour Party promised that would not be

the way it was going to be

for the returning veterans of  World War II.

Attlee and the Labour Party gave the British

RADICAL SOCIAL REFORM.

Its happening now in the United States of America.

Donnie P.P. Pussygrabber

and the G.O.P./KKK

are trying to return to the

pre-pandemic

business-as-usual,

the run-away kleptocracy,

of the dirty, stinking rich getting everything

and everybody else getting the crumbs from their table.

In this pandemic

the masters of this world are revealed

in all their

greedy,

grasping,

mean spirit-ness.

They are

already

using billions

and billions

of tax-payers dollars

to bail-out corporations,

to bail-out the oil industry.

When banks begin to fail

-again

it will be all about bailing-out the banks,

as it was in 2008.

The G.O.P./KKK are resisting the bail-out of hospitals,

assisting

medical

and emergency workers

on the front line.

Bailing out

state

and municipal governments,

bailing-out

the people.

They want to return to the business-as-usual

of poor people being much more likely to get sick,

not receiving proper medical care

and dying.

They want to continue the business-of-usual

of people working three shitty jobs

and living in their car.

The business-of-usual

of the vast majority of the American people

being a paycheck away

from homelessness

destitution.

But the American people are not having it.

The American people are making huge sacrifices,

They are suffering

– horribly.

Many more are dead

than would be dead

if we had a competent president.

Many more will die,

than would have died

if we had a competent president

who doesn’t give a fuck

how many will die

as long

as him

and his billionaire buddies.

can get back to the

business-as-usual

of making money.

People who are not particularly vulnerable to covid-19,

are locked down

to protect people who are more vulnerable.

For the most part

the people

are responding

with generosity

and compassion.

They are being radicalized.

Bernie Sanders

will not be

the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate.

And yet,

his agenda will prevail.

There will be

RADICAL SOCIAL REFORM

there will be a

NEW –  NEW DEAL.
